Oregon Historic Cemeteries Association Annual Meeting
Registration begins at 9:30 at the Eugene Water and Electric Board in Eugene.
The meeting features a presentation by Ed Alvorsan, the Willamette Valley Stewardship Ecologist for the Nature Conservancy. There will be plenty of time for networking and sharing. Following the lunch break will be a tour of the Eugene Masonic Cemetery.

Brown Bag Get Together and Workshop with Commissioner Dirk Siedlecki
We will meet in the Jacksonville Cemetery at 9:00am. We will start off with a small informal workshop on cleaning and repairing markers. We will break for lunch and informal discussion on topics of mutual interest and concern regarding our cemeteries. Please bring gloves to wear, a lunch and perhaps a folding chair to sit on. Morning coffee and snacks will be provided along with dessert and bottled water at lunch time. Please contact Dirk at 541 826-9939 or djsmhs@earthlink.net if you wish to attend.
Directions are as follows: Take Highway 238 into Jacksonville and turn right onto California Street (main street thru downtown) to first stop sign, turn right onto N. Oregon St. proceed down N. Oregon a short distance and entrance to the cemetery will be on your left.
